Mr. Ivan Robert Wilde, age 66, of St. Ignace, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Mercy Health Partners Mercy Campus in Muskegon.  He was born September 23, 1950, in St. Ignace to Ivan E. and Addie (Savard) Wilde.  He graduated from Hart high school with the class of 1968 and furthered his education at Muskegon Community College where he received his associate's degree in criminal justice. Ivan married Mary Collins on September 7, 1991 in Muskegon; they were married for twenty five years.  He was a Detective Sgt. with the Oceana County Sheriff Department and warrant officer for the Muskegon County Friend of the Court; Detective with the Muskegon County Sheriff until his retirement in June of 2001. After his retirement from the Muskegon County Sheriff Department Ivan and Mary purchased the Straits View Motel in St. Ignace, owned the Golden Properties Real Estate Agency in St. Ignace, was the Manager of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate office in St. Ignace, Northern Lakes Coldwell Banker in Mackinac City, and Recreation Enforcement Officer in St. Ignace.  Ivan was a lifetime member of the FOP Charles Hammond Lodge in Twin Lake; Lions Club in St. Ignace and the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Mary Wilde; children, Nanci Ann (Erick Agosto-Diaz) Wilde of Orlando, FL, Robert Allan (Lisa Kay) Wilde of Muskegon, Callie (Chad) DeVries of Byron Center; step-children, David (Gina) Reed of Muskegon; Susan (Rick) Roth of PA, Robert (fiance' Mary VanHassel) Reed of, Montague; twelve grandchildren, three great-granddaughters; three sisters, Carol Bentley of Midland, Diane Scofield of Phoenix, AZ, Dolores Dusendang of Rockford; two sisters-in-law, Gloria (Gale) Raby of Walkerville, Nancy Raab of Whitehall and his yellow lab, Buddy.   He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Deborah Mull; sisters-in-law, Sally Hamel and Barbara Woodwyk.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Ivan will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Hart with Father Thomas Bolster presiding.  Interment will be in Hart Cemetery.   Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart.
