Jacob G. Anderson, 66, of Elk Rapids, died unexpectedly September 23, 2021.

He was born September 7, 1935, the son of John and Alvena (Miller) Anderson.  He attended and graduated from Elk Rapids High School where he was a football player.

Jacob was an over the road trucker for many years, as well as a heavy equipment operator.  He loved to travel and would winter down south.  He enjoyed restoring his GM Caballero, playing cribbage and also Euchre, where he would always teach invaluable lessons to the game.

He is survived by his two sons, Tod (Alicia) and Kyle; and grandson, Corbin.  Also surviving are brothers, Jonathon Anderson and Randy Miller, and sister, Jennie Baker.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 20201, at Kewadin Indian Mission Church, 7250 Cairn Highway, Kewadin, MI. 49648.  Visitation was held from 12:00 PM  until time of service at the church.  Interment followed in Indian Mission Cemetery.
