Jacqueline Marie Chester, 74, of Whitehall, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born June 29, 1946, in Grant.

Jacqueline had many hobbies, including arts and crafts, painting, scrapbooking, restoring antique furniture, swimming, and camping; her favorite place to camp was 4B's Campground in Hesperia. She was a strong willed woman with a happy-go-lucky spirit. Jacqueline loved kids, babysitting, and her church family. She retired from Howmet Aerospace after a dedication of over 30 years of employment.

Jacqueline is survived by: her husband, Van Chester; children, William (Sandra) Evans, Beverly Evans, Chuck (Kim) Evans, Tracie (Cliff) Hutson, and Jamie Chester; grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Crystal, Chuck, Kevin, Ashley, Sedona, and Nickole; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Tim) LaForest, Robert (Linda) Bowen, Thomas (Dena) Bowen, Wayne (Shari) Bowen, and James (Linda) Hock; and many nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by: her parents, Russell and Genivieve Bowen; and sister, Ardith Pierson.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
