Jacqueline Jean Wiggins, 89, of Muskegon, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at her home. She was born April 18, 1932, in Grawn, the daughter of Louis C. and Irene (Newburn) Barnard.
Jacqueline was a member of the Don Rea VFW #8846, where her and her family volunteered often. She also enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and the yearly Battle Creek family reunion, which she was so happy she was able to attend this year. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Jacqueline leaves behind three sisters, Rosemary Ward, Marilyn Ropp, and Karen Miel; brother-in-law, Don Wagner; daughters, Cindy (Mike) Willacker of Muskegon and Lynn Wiggins of Warren; sons, Brian (Jill) Wiggins of Muskegon, Gene (Jill) Wiggins of Sarasota, FL, and Scott Wiggins of Sarasota, FL; daughter-in-law, Deborah Wiggins of Muskegon; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and best friends, Art and Faye Magnuson.
On July 2, 1955, Jacqueline married Thomas Wiggins Sr., and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; sons, Chris Wiggins, Thomas Wiggins Jr., David Wiggins Sr., and Dennis Wiggins Sr.; sisters, Betty Miel, Pat Grenell, Donna Furman, Judy Wagner, and Eva Woodrum; brother, Robert Barnard; and grandson, Todd Wiggins.
Jacqueline will be privately laid to rest with Thomas in Egelston Township Cemetery, Muskegon.
