James Philip Girardot, 61, of Rothbury, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020. He was born September 3, 1958, the son of John and Beverly Girardot.

Jim married the former Mary Norman on September 10, 1999. Together they raised seven children and enjoyed 21 years of marriage. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and being outdoors. He was a simple, strong-willed, hardworking, loving man. He will be deeply missed.

Jim is survived by: his wife, Mary; children, Jason (Emily) Pulcifer, Joshua (Jennifer) Pulcifer, Justin (Amy) Girardot, Cristy Pider, Jayson Girardot, Jessica Girardot, and Philip Girardot; 14 grandchildren; mother, Beverly Girardot; brothers, John (Sue) Girardot and Larry (Nancy) Girardot; sister, Karen Girardot; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his father; and brother, David Girardot.

Cremation will take place, and a private celebration of his life will take place.
