James Edward Grose of Williamsburg, Michigan, died on June 5, 2021.  He was born on January 6, 1959, in Traverse City, Michigan, to Joseph and Pauline (Keech) Grose.

He was employed by Grand Traverse Industries for 30 years.

James was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Connie, and brother-in-law David Forton.

He is survived by: brother, Robert (Sherry) Grose of Interlochen, sister, Christine (Alan) Bowen of Williamsburg, and sister Sandra Forton of Lake Ann.  He is also survived by nephews, Robert (Katrina) Grose, Earl (Emily) Forton, Gordon Forton, Eric (Mia) Herman, and niece Emily (Rob) Henderson, as well as several great-nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his faithful canine, companion Scooby Doo.

Jim was a kind and gentle man and we will miss him dearly until we meet again.

Beacon Cremation and Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of his arrangements.
