IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James "Jim"
Peterson
July 29, 1950 – January 21, 2020
James "Jim" Peterson was called home to be with his Heavenly Father at the age of 69 on January 21, 2020. His devotion to his family and God has served as an influential example to those around him.
To those who knew Jim, the first things that come to mind is his sense of humor, dependable nature, and his servant heart.
From Laurie: Jim was the love of my life and everything I ever needed in a husband, even his quirks. He was my rock, my peace, solution finder and a fixer of everything.
From Jeremy: His faith, not only in God but in his family as well, has always given me strength when I needed it. He was a humble man of strong convictions and utmost devotion. His mere presence was always such a comfort and I'll appreciate the lessons he taught me.
From Stacy: Despite having 50 different ways to explain the same thing, it's the non-verbal expressions that said more than words could ever express. No matter what situation he found himself in, he always found the joy and humor in it.
From Caitlyn: Dad played many different roles in my life; my confidant, my role model, and my greatest friend. Even though the family teases that I had him wrapped around my finger, we were more like partners in crime.
Jim is survived by: his wife, Laurie; children, Jeremy Peterson, Stacy (Scott) Ingersoll, Caitlyn (Jay) Hannum; grandchildren, Ashley, Nicole, David, Brody and BrayLyn; siblings, Darlene (Arne) Anderson, David (Becky) Peterson, John (Wendy) Peterson, Ron Peterson, Don (Kristen) Peterson; brother-in-law, David Streeting; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Donald and Edythe Peterson; and sister, Jean Streeting.
