Mrs. Jane Pearson, age 64, of Pentwater, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009. She was born on January 15, 1945 in Erie, Kansas to Richard and Lula (Showalter) Bonine. On June 7, 1986, she married Al Pearson at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Weare. Jane graduated from East Lyden High School in Chicago and retired as the Postmaster of the Pentwater Post Office in 2004. She was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church-Pentwater. Jane is survived by her husband Al Pearson of Pentwater; 3 sons, Mike (Leah) Holmes of Pentwater, Chief Petty Officer Rob (Melanie) Holmes of Chicago, Sergeant First Class Brent (Julie) Holmes of Gaylord, MI; step-daughter, Reacheal Pearson of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Will (Pam) Bonine of Pentwater, Gary Bonine of Hart, Phyllis Gerard of Pentwater, Brian (Lynnette) Bonine of Crystal Valley, Richard (Rita) Bonine of Washington State, Peggy Frasco of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a husband, Mike Holmes in 1983. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. from St. Vincent Catholic Church-Pentwater with Fr. Rock Badgerow presiding. Interment will be made in the Pentwater Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Society or Harbor Hospice Poppen House residence.
