Jeanne Marie Hook, 65, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at home with family by her side.  She was born July 6, 1957, in Bay City, the daughter of Howard and Grace (Lavigueur) Rehil.

Jeanne lived in Oklahoma for over 30 years before returning to Michigan in 2012.  She received her GED from Traverse City High School and was an animal lover.

Jeanne is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Darcy) Thomson and David Hook & Family; grandchildren, Cody, Wesley, and Kendra; several great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Humphrey; brother, Howard (Ella) Rehil II; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Carol Hermann; and brother, Joe Rehil.

Private services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society).
