Obituary

Jeffrey "Jeff" Alan Weber, 65, of Kingsley, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.  He was born July 31, 1958, in Traverse City, the son of LaVerne and Jenette (Riehl) Weber.

Jeff was a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in the mandolin and piano; he wrote music and even recorded an album.  Jeff was proud to live on the family farm.  He had a way with animals, especially horses, and he loved nature, watching the sunsets, and going boondocking.  Jeff was a no-fuss man and a good person who, more than anything, loved being Papa Weber to his beloved grandchildren.

Jeff is survived by: his son, Brandon (Courtney) Burley of Grawn; grandchildren, Mason, Emily, and Kennedy Burley of Grawn; siblings, Andy (Kathy) Weber of Kingsley, Jim (Bev) Weber of Grawn, Jodi (Jeff) Weber-Harrand of Traverse City, Dick (Karleen) Kelley of Traverse City, and Bob (Sherri) Kelley of Ludington; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Mary Weber; and nephew, Ryan Kelley.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 20, 2023, at LifePoint Bible Church, 1249 3 Mile Road South, Traverse City, Michigan  49696.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of services at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Farm Aid or National Center For Missing And Exploited Children.
