Jere Alan Graham, 73, of Traverse City, died Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Medilodge of Traverse City. He was born January 24, 1949, in Jamestown, North Dakota, the son of Chester Arthur and Viola Jo Graham.
Jere grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and graduated from high school in Muskegon, Michigan. He then attended school in West Branch, Iowa, Argenta Friends School in British Columbia. He was a faithful member of the Traverse Bay Mennonite Church.
Jere is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Graham and Emily McKonkie; stepson, Micah Kartz; half-sister, Lois Edgerton of Columbiana, Ohio; sister, Laurie Lynn Graham of Uniondale, Pennsylvania; twin sister, Jean Ellen Graham of Austin, Texas; half-brother-in-law, Roy Hampton; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by: three half-brothers, James Graham, Frank Graham, and Donald Graham; half-sister, Martha Graham Hampton; and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Kingsley Baptist Church, 7511 Blackman Road, Kingsley, Michigan 49649. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the church.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
