Obituary

Jeri A. Eastham, 56, of Cadillac, Michigan, formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, surrounded by family.

Jeri previously worked for Goodwill Industries and was a waitress for years prior. Jeri had a love for the outdoors whether it was camping, canoeing down the Au Suable River with family and friends, or just enjoying a bonfire on a warm summer night. She loved to cruise, as she called it, although she never drove anywhere slow; she was always looking for new sights to see. She had a love for cats and collected bears. Her family used to refer to her as the littlest girl with the reddest hair, she never did outgrow it. She was a spit fire, as they say dynamite comes in small packages. Amid her toughness Jeri had a big heart. And will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mona Burgess and William Raby; and her brother, Carl Raby.

She leaves behind three children, Stephanie Eastham (Jordan Reach), Joshua Allen both of Gaylord, Michigan, and Charles Eastham of Wichita, Kansas; seven grandchildren, (Stephanie) Blake, 16 Luna, 10 Jameson, 9 (Charles) Charles Jr, 14 Carter, 12  Colton, 2  and Mayva 1. She also leaves three sisters, Marsha (Jeff) Hardwick of Wichita, Kansas, Shelly Lang of Kalkaska, Michigan, and Brenda Hill of Flint, Michigan; one brother, Robert "Rob" (Alice) Burgess of Burton, Michigan; sister-in-law, Marika Raby of Colorado; and Special Friend, Richard Springberg.  She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held in the spring of 2024.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
