Jerry James Stage, 75, of Mears, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021.  He was born on January 12, 1946, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of Paul and Viola (Anderson) Stage.  Jerry married the love of his life Catherine (Wright) Stage on June 9, 1970 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Marine Corps.

Jerry loved golf cart rides with his dog Odie, fantasy football, Disney, and generally just enjoyed talking to people and being around them.  Jerry always made you feel good or at ease with a kind word or a silly joke.  He has made a difference in so many lives and he will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by: his children, Adam (Lisa) Stage, Joel (Kayla) Stage, Nicholas (Jessica) Stage; his grandchildren, Allie, Layla, Lily, Madison, James, Brayden, Jonathan, Audrey; Sister, Mickey (Stage) Reiman; nieces, nephews and his great-nephew.

Jerry was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul and Viola; and his wife, Catherine Stage in 2011.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church, 9601 Hubbard St. Livonia, MI 48150, where masks are required.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
