Mr. Jesse Aubrey Weirich, age 86 of Hart, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Aubrey was born in Elbridge Township and had lived his entire life on the family farm, where he was born. He graduated from Hart High School and attended County Normal and taught school at the Gale School and served on the school board of Shaw School. He stayed at home to tend the family farm and later worked in construction and retired from DuPont in Montague. He spent his winters in Florida for the last several years. His interests included reading, oil painting, wood carving and gardening. Aubrey is survived by his brothers, Carleton (Lillian) Weirich of Hart and Kenneth (Anita) Weirich of Union City, MI; Nieces, Kendra (Kenneth) Phillips, Karen (Matthew) Doubleday and Kaye (David) Castle; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lilah (Goodrich) Weirich. The Funeral Service for Mr. Weirich will be held Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Hintz officiating. Interment in the Elbridge Township Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elbridge Community Church.
