Obituary
JoAn Morris, age 88, of Laketon Township, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. JoAn was born on December 19, 1929 to Frank and Olga Spring in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She loved gardening in her flower garden and loved music. In the early 1950's, she had a successful back ground in night club singing. In 1973, JoAn proudly produced her own record album, created with her beautiful voice.
JoAn was known for her strong spirit, love of lilacs and her taste for bluegills. She always looked forward to a bucket full of fish caught by her brother Ron Spring.
JoAn is survived by her daughter, Patricia Anne Gomez (Gonzalo), brother, Ronald Spring, along with many grandchildren, Michelle Villalpando, Amber Villalpando, Jamie (Chris) Glasper, Eli Gomez and Richard Villalpando, along with many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clyde Morris, her parents, and brothers, Jimmy and Phillip Spring.
According to her families wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
