Mrs. Johanna F. Liesberg, age 76 of Hart, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008. She was born in Warren, Minnesota on April 5, 1932 to Frank and Johanna (Koop) Stuemke. Johanna married Benjamin Liesberg in Warren, Minnesota on October 25, 1953. She was employed as a secretary and had been employed by the Federal Land Bank, Stokley's and Prince, Barecki and Nichols Law Office and had retired in 1995. Her interests included reading, cooking and canning. Mrs. Liesberg was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Benjamin of Hart; their five children, Catherine (Gerry) Hissong of Montague, JoAnne Munoz and friend Perry of Windsor, Canada, Benjamin Liesberg, Jr. of Hart, Michael (Laura) Liesberg of Graham, Washington, Diane Gieske and friend John Wabsis of Hart; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Crawford of Roy, Washington; brother in law, Paul Liesberg of Lakeside, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Art and Edward Stuemke; sisters, Ruth, Julia, Lydia and Bernice. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Liesberg will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Miller officiating. Interment in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the needs of the family or to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
