John C. Coggeshall, PhD., age 69 of Pentwater, died Friday, August 1, 2008 in Chicago. He was born in Chicago on July 16, 1939 to Chester and Marion (Campbell) Coggeshall. John married the former Ann L. Koscal in Chicago on October 27, 1979. Dr. Coggeshall was a Research Scientist in Bio-Chemistry specifically studying Diabetes. He received his formal education from Colorado State University, Loyola University in Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology. He is survived by his wife Ann of Pentwater; son, John Coggeshall of San Jose, CA; daughters, Lori (Rob) Coggeshall-Jordan of Grand Rapids and Jennifer (George) Coggeshall-Bowling of Peoria, AZ; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Sarah (Gene) Stute and Marian (Donald) Schmidt, both of Pentwater and Susan (George) Adinamis of Indianapolis, IN. The Funeral Service for Dr. Coggeshall will be held Friday, August 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Rickard officiating. Interment will be in Pentwater Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Pentwater VFW Post 6017 for assistance in mailing packages to our troops.
