John Ray Eppley, 57, of Grawn, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at home with his family by his side.  He was born November 5, 1964, in Eastpointe, Michigan, the son of Clarence "Tiny" Eppley Sr. and Diane Eppley.

In his free time, John liked to hunt, fish, camp, and be outside.  Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

John is survived by: his significant other, Betty Ferguson; his 5 children and 13 grandchildren, Mark (Amanda) Morrison (Mikayla, Joe, Matthew, Cassidy, Sandy and Pierson), Amy Alexander (Shyann and Cameron), Jenny (Jason) Munro (Haley, Austin, Trevor), Richard Morrison (Logan, Olive), and Thomas Morrison; his brothers Clarence Jr. (Dollie) Eppley and Jesse Eppley; aunt, Nadine Hamner; and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by: his parents, Clarence "Tiny" Eppley Sr. and Diane Eppley; his brother, Julius "Jewel" Eppley; his son, Justin Eppley; grandson, Ethan Morrison; and two aunts.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 6, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel.  Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Interlochen.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
