Mr. John Alden Wiedman, age 94, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Mr. Wiedman was a graduate of Walkerville High School and was a member of the Hart United Methodist Church. He was united in marriage to Wilna Marsh on May 23, 1937 at her parent's home in Walkerville. Mr. Wiedman owned and operated Wiedman Heating and Electric and also had worked with his relatives at the Reed City Heating and Electric. During the war years, John had worked in the test house at Continental Motors. He was also a member of the Met N Et group at Hart United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Wilna; their children, Kay (David) Trommater of Hoffman Estates, IL, Susan (William) Adams of Hart and Rex (Susan) Wiedman of Mears; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and expecting the arrival of another; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Herbert Wiedman and sister in law, Lillian Wiedman. The Funeral Serivce for John will be held Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Hart United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ben B. Lester officiating. Interment in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be given to Harbor Hospice.
