IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John Bernard
Wolf Sr.
September 13, 1939 – April 7, 2022
Our Lord and Savior called home his son Jack on April 7 th .
We are so blessed to have had such a loving husband, father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather in our lives who loved us all unconditionally.
There was nothing more important than his family, we will miss hearing "I Love you" at the end of every visit or call, the smiles and hugs that made you feel all the love he had to share.
Jack was born in Hannah, MI on September 13 th , 1939 to Bernard and Sadie Wolf where he spent his early years on the family farm before moving to Kingsley, MI in 1947.
In 1955 he met the love of his life Margaret Benson at the Michigan Theater in Traverse City where she won his heart with extra butter on his popcorn, it was a love that would last a lifetime.
Jack's Military career began in the Army where he served a total of 5 years 7 months Active and Reserve, he retired from the Army as a SP5 in 1965.
Jack and Marge were married on September 26, 1959 and welcomed their first of seven children in 1962.
1980 welcomed the Wolf family with a new home in Traverse City, MI where Jack worked for 27 years at the Traverse City State Hospital until it's closing in 1989 all while driving our youth to and from school for TCAPS for 38 years.
Making a house a home was a passion for Jack and we all were part of the fixer upper club where many homes came and went, the one thing we could all count on from Dad was the love, dedication, hard work and support that he gave his family each and every day, to say he was a wonderful man is a understatement.
The outdoors was his happy place where he loved working on the days projects to make his home welcoming for all, if you asked how his day was, he would reply with "I was blessed to wake up to enjoy another day"
Jack is survived by his beautiful wife Margaret of 62 years, his children John B. Jr. (Mary Ann), Sara Deshler, Robert (Connie), Craig, Shawn (Angela) and sister Marie Arsenault. Grandchildren Craig Joseph (Erica), Alyssa, Nicole (Jesse), Jena, Tyler, Shawn Jr., Jackie (Ben) Nathan, Lukas.
Great Grandchildren Savanna, Linux, Percy, Lauren, Nova and Max.
He is preceded in death by his sons Matthew Mark and Joseph, parents Bernard and Sadie Wolf, Brothers Don, Stanley, Paul, Brian and sister Deanna.
