Johnny Ray Taylor, 57, of Scottville, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 28, 2019, at home.  He was born November 16, 1961, in Cumberland, Kentucky, the son of Clinton and Imogene (Walters) Taylor.

Johnny worked as a model maker and tool and die maker for many years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, building model cars and airplanes, and working with his hands.  Most of all, Johnny loved fishing and spending time with grandchildren.

Johnny is survived by: his sons, Clinton (Shelby) Taylor of Scottville, and Eric Hernandez of Ludington; his grandchildren, Johnathan Taylor, Piper Taylor, Rheanna Hernandez and Jaylind Hernandez; his former spouse, Laura Jones of Ludington;  his brothers, Tim, Raymond, Mike and Rick; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Johnny's life will be held at a later date.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, Ludington, is in charge of arrangements.
