Jon Emmons Wayne, 76, of Kewadin, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  He was born September 25, 1945, the son of Max and Rita (Ostrye) Wayne.

Jon graduated from Farmington High School in 1964, and then served in the US Army, during the Vietnam era, where he received the Purple Heart Medal.  He moved to Kewadin, Michigan, in the early 1990s, and worked for Schumacher Dental Lab for many years.  He enjoyed the things Northern Michigan had to offer, especially golf and skiing.

Jon is survived by: his siblings, Terry (Sharon) Wayne, Christine Flaviani, Linda (Joe Czuk) Wayne, David (Teresa) Wayne, and Janet (Glenn) Warsh.  Also surviving are his nephews, David, Andy, Matt, and Brad.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
