Jonathon Ray Brandel, 55, of Muskegon, passed away September 17, 2020, at his home. He was born June 5, 1965, in Shelby, the son of Henry and Victoria (Smith) Brandel.

Jon was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and his garden. Jon liked Batman, collecting various items, and spending time with his grandkids.

Jon is survived by: his daughters, Nicole (Chris) Brown and Jane (Angela) Brandel; grandchildren, Aidan, Leland, Gavin, and Dakarri; granddog, Mystical; parents, Henry and Victoria Brandel; brothers, Mike (Linda) Brandel, Fred (Sandy) Brandel, Larry Brandel, Roger Brandel, and Jeff (Laura) Brandel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday October 3, 2020, in Oakhurst Cemetery, 1390 East Colby Street, Whitehall.
