Joseph "Joe" Edward Traylor, 56, of Buckley, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on June 14th 2023 due to an aggressive form of cancer. He went to his heavenly home peacefully surrounded by his loving children and fiancé.

Joe was born on October 3rd 1966 and joins his parents Philis and Richard Gardner and Grandparents Mary and Joseph Traylor who have gone before him.

Joe lived his life full of love, and passed on his values through time spent hunting, fishing, and experiencing the great gifts revealed to us in nature. As a skilled contractor, Joe's handprint carries on through the homes and businesses he has built in the surrounding communities. He was passionate about his projects and always had something on the list to finish or begin particularly on their homestead, followed around by his golden shadow and trusted companion Buddy. He especially liked to watch the garden grow and was a meticulous caretaker of the landscape beds.

Left to carry on his loving memory are his partner and fiancé, Denice LaMontagne; children Zachary (Miranda) along with his expected granddaughter Evelyn Traylor and Kayla (Michael) Traylor; siblings Angela (John) Saier, Richard Gardner, and Thomas Traylor; as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many more friends and extended family members.

A celebration of life memorial will be hosted by the family at Joe and Denice's home on Sunday, July 2nd at 2:00 pm.
