Joshua Steven Miller, 42, of Muskegon, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. He was born October 2, 1980, the son of Kent (Steve) and Kristine Humphrey.

On September 22, 2018, Joshua married Lauren Lavengood. Together they enjoyed date nights where they golfed, went out to eat, and watched movies.

Josh graduated from Shelby High School in 1999. He worked in insurance and was the current office manager of Jason Ryan State Farm in Muskegon.

Josh was an avid golfer; he was able to fulfill his dream of managing a golf course for a couple seasons. He loved spending time with his family, watching sports (Go Lions!), and movies.

Josh is survived by: his wife, Lauren Miller; children, Granderson (13), Ella (3), and Augustus (1); father, Steve Humphrey; his brother, Jared Miller; and nephews, Brenden and Eli.

Joshua was preceded in death by his mother, Kristine Humphrey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461.
