Judith (Judy) Rose Coleman, 89, of Whitehall, Michigan, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. She was born December 8, 1935, in Fremont, the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Brimmer) Jeffries. After graduating from high school in 1954, Judy went on to receive a Nurses Training Certificate from Hackley School of Nursing, but ultimately chose to marry and stay at home raising five children.

Judy enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing Bingo, gaming at the casinos, and playing Cribbage, Yahtzee, Backgammon, and Trivial Pursuit. She enjoyed watching old movies and game shows. She enjoyed quiet time in her garden growing flowers and vegetables, and she loved canning.

One of six children, Judy is survived by two brothers, Gene (Karen) Jeffries and Edward Jeffries. Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Gale Jeffries, LaVern (Beverly) Jeffries, and sister Don Eva (Mark) Mulder.

Judy is survived by: her daughter, Rhonda Walsh; her son, Gary (Alex Leger) Corsi; and her youngest daughter, Brenda Corsi. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Coleman; her son, Richard A. Corsi; and her son, Jeffery S. Corsi.

The family held a private graveside service in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice Muskegon.
