Obituary

Judy Joy Golden, 79, of Muskegon, passed away July 4, 2021. She was born July 7, 1941, in Hesperia, the daughter of Clayton and Velda (Eddy) Maynard.

Judy enjoyed knitting, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Judy is survived by: her loving husband, David Golden Sr.; children, Steve (Dar) Golden, Bob (Loretta) Golden, Therese (Mark) Flermoen, Dave Jr (Cindy) Golden, and Chris (Tim) Sluyter; brothers, Randy (Marlene) Maynard and Terry (Bev) Maynard; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay (Dan) Rossitter and Linda (Jay) Jones and brother-in-law, Ron Zenk.

Judy was preceded in death by: her parents, Clayton and Velda Maynard; brothers, Don (Judy) Maynard, Clayton (Rosalee) Maynard Jr, Teddy Maynard, Wayne Maynard, Elden (Alice) Maynard, and Morse (Shirley) Maynard; and sisters, Edna Mansfield, Shirley Zenk, Gloria Lee (John) Moore, and Dot (Jim) Biggart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1110 Dykstra Road, Muskegon, MI 49445, with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere presiding. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
