Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Julianne Laude, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, on October 18th 2026. Julianne was born on April 27th, 1973 in Ludington to Gary and Carol (Smith) Laude.

Julianne was also known as Julie or JuJu to many of her loved ones. Julie will be remembered for her love of riding, whether it was her motorcycle, e-bike or dirt bikes. Julie always had an answer for everything, as well as being willing to help anyone that needed help. JuJu loved to cook and that was her love language to show she cared. She was a force to be reckoned with, full of fire, quick wit, and never afraid to speak her mind. She had a way of making herself heard and being the loudest Laude in the room. Her strong personality, outspoken nature, and larger-than-life presence made her one of a kind. She was unapologetically herself, and those who knew and loved her wouldn’t have wanted her any other way.

Julie is survived by her children Sarah (Nick) Maynard, Courtney (Juan Jr.) Herrera, Ashley (Cody) Terlaan, Deven Rossi. Her mother Carol (Smith) Laude. Her Siblings Brian Laude, Darren (Katherina) Laude, Jay (Courtney) Laude. As well as Julie’s grandchildren Madalyn, Cody II, Logan, Kingston, Amyla, Emma. Also including many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceding in death by her father Gary, cherished grandchildren, and 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Viewing/visitations will be conducted at 10:00 am until the start of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Friday October 23rd, 2026, at Beacon Cremation and Funeral Home,White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, Michigan, 49461.
