June Maxine Dalzell, 93, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Munson Medical Center, in Traverse City, with family by her side.  She was born June 16, 1928, in Buckley, the daughter of Hiram and Ella (Casler) Ransom.

June worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring from Flint General Hospital.  June loved the outdoors; she and her husband often took their children camping and hunting when they were young.  She enjoyed going for rides and took every opportunity to just be in the woods.  She also enjoyed quilting and puzzles.  June will be remembered as a loving, caring, and unselfish wife, mother, and grandmother.

June is survived by: her son, Marvin Dalzell; her daughter, Geneva Markle; grandchildren, Teresa Shoultz, Mike Dalzell, and Julie Walker; great-granddaughter, Traci Shoultz; great-great-granddaughter, Skylar Beach; and brother, Hiram "Lloyd" Ransom.

In death, June has been reunited with the eternal love of her life, Leonard M. Dalzell, with whom she enjoyed 49 years of marriage.  She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
