June Katherine Felt, age 88, of Whitehall, died Monday, January 6, 2020. She died peacefully at home in the loving arms of her husband, Roger, with family and friends. She was born January 5, 1932, the daughter of John and Catharina (Van Ekeren) Koopman in Grand Rapids. She married Roger Felt on July 18, 1953, in Muskegon.

June loved spending time with family and friends. She was a very devoted and loving mother, who enjoyed sewing and working in the yard with Roger. She was a member of Fruitland Covenant Church in Whitehall.

June is survived by: her husband of 66 years, Roger; three daughters, Tanya Austin, Cheryl (Matthew) Kaley of Whitehall, and Tammy (Craig) Smith of Kalispell, Montana; son, Chad (Rhonda) Felt of Big Fork, Montana; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by: her parents; son Clark Felt; grandson Justin Austin; and brother, John Koopman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 13, 2020, at Fruitland Covenant Church, 4283 N, Weber Road, Whitehall, with Pastor Carl Franzon officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church. Interment will take place in Fruitland Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fruitland Covenant Church.
