Kaitlynn Ann Scott, 14, of Montague, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019.  She was born July 29, 2004, the daughter of Eric and Kim Scott.

Kaitlynn attended Montague Public Schools and was a very active girl. She was involved in 4-H and FFA. She loved the outdoors. Kaitlynn had a love for riding and showing mules and had a special bond with her mules, Sam and Fritz. She also enjoyed playing basketball and swimming. Kaitlynn had a zest for life and was an adventurous, kind, loving, smart, outgoing girl with a beautiful, uplifting smile. She will be deeply, deeply missed.

Kaitlynn is survived by: her mother, Kimberly Scott; brother, Tyler Scott; grandparents; David (Wendy) Scott, Jackie Cavanaugh, and Terry (Karen) Seaver; great-grandmother, Ann Schieber; uncles, Terry (Alyssa) Seaver and Christopher (Jennifer) Scott; aunts, Kristy (Kevin) Mosher and Angela (Mike) Stafford; and many cousins.

Kaitlynn was preceded in death by: her father, Eric Scott; and step-grandfather, Bill Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church, 900 Warner Street, Whitehall. Private interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Montague.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Scott Family Fund C/O Harbor Light Credit Union.
