Karen Kristine Sandstrom Muir passed away August 17, 2023. A member of the Annapolis, Maryland community for 40 years, Karen was a fierce advocate of public education, political activist, world traveler, avid reader, movie lover, devoted Orioles baseball fan, and dessert enthusiast (most notably cookie dough).

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, 333 Dubois Rd, Annapolis, MD, 21401.
