Katherine McGrath-Miller "Mema", 80, of Montague, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

This brilliant and caring woman dedicated her life helping Michigan mothers in the maternal child health field. Retiring to spend all her time with her grandchildren, Danny, Chandler, and Morgan. She enjoyed volunteering in Whitehall schools and spending endless hours cheering on the soccer sidelines all over the country. Mema was a wonderful mother and best friend. One of her favorite pastimes was walking the grounds of Dogstar Ranch with her dog, Lilly. She also loved the sun and would be walking the beaches whenever she could. Mema will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Katherine is survived by: her only child, Erika Nichols; son-in-law, Dan Nichols; grandchildren, Danny, Chandler, and Morgan; one brother, Don, and two sisters, Jan and Beth.

In accordance with Katherine's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
