Keith Richard Odziana, 52, of Cedar, died Monday, November 20, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  He was born April 22, 1971, in Detroit, MI, the son of Rudy Odziana and Andrea Bailey.

Keith graduated from Kingsley High School in 1989.  He met Carrie Labadie in 1995 while playing softball; they married in Interlochen, on August 31, 1996.

Keith was a devout fisherman and an avid duck hunter, passions he shared with his two sons, Mark and Austin. He lived for the hunting trips with his boys in Kansas and North Dakota. Keith owned and operated a drywall business from the time he was 21.

In addition to his wife Carrie, Keith is survived by his  father Rudy (Verta) Odziana of Interlochen his children; Mark (Rachel) Odziana of Lake Ann, Jessica (Shawn) Gauden of Cedar, and Austin (Karlie) Odziana of Cedar; 5 grandchildren; step-siblings, Sara Odziana and Jordan Slattery; a handful of nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his beloved uncles Paul, Frank, Joe, Dennis, Bob, and Mike.

Keith had a gruff exterior to those who may not have known him well, those close with him knew how generous he was and soft hearted, often getting choked up from a simple "I love you".

Keith was preceded in death by: his mom, Andrea Bailey; maternal grandmother, Betty Bygden; and paternal grandmother, Rita Odziana.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2024.  Details will be shared with family and friends.
