Kelsey E. Clous passed away peacefully at Munson Medical Center on January 21, 2022, with her mother and brother by her side.

Kelsey was a blessing, and one of the kindest human beings you would ever meet. At 16, her body became a war zone and Kelsey became the warrior. The harder things got the more determined she would become. When most were learning how to become adults, Kelsey learned to trust in life's journey. She had faith and believed that through turmoil, lessons are learned. No one could have shined brighter than she. When faced with severe health complications, she would say to her doctors and caregivers "this is my goal, how do I get there?" Even if it was an incredibly hard day, she was always thankful for those who cared for her. She met them with a smile and never missed an opportunity to say thank you. Even in ICU she would make bracelets to show her love and gratitude.

Kelsey leaves behind her little love that meant more to her than life itself, Autumn Dontje; her true love, Zach Wise; her mother, Carol; brother, Nathan; sister-in-law, Montana; her sweet niece; Elena Lou; and her grandma, Lou Lou.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and father, Garth W. Clous.

It is not the date that you are born or the date of which you leave this earth that matters. What matters is what you do with the time in between. Please honor Kelsey by always being thankful, and know a little love goes a long way.

We would like to thank all who cared for Kelsey and made her life easier. She was truly blessed to have the most wonderful of Providers and Caregivers come together to allow Kelsey to live the best life that she could.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering from 2-4 PM, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Lutke Hall, 9290 E. 14 1/4 Rd. Manton, Michigan 49663. Additionally, another service will be planned the last weekend in June at a park to be announced at a later date.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Kingsley Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
