Mr. Kenneth "Bud" Merle Dunlap, age 71, of Hart, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013. He was born July 31, 1942, in Hart, Michigan to Kenneth and Doris (Griffis) Dunlap. Bud was a card dealer and pit boss at Caesar's Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and then owned the Ruby Creek Tavern. He was a "people person", well thought of wherever he was in life and always available to help anyone in need.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Doris Emma Dunlap; two daughters, Toni (John) Smith of Hesperia and Shannon (Ron) Monroe of Ferry; three granddaughters, Kendra, Josie, and Shy; two sisters, Ella Litzas and Bonnie Curtis, both of Hart; three nephews, Ron (Stacy) Curtis, William Thomas "Bud" (Fiancée Evelyn Thompson) Curtis, and Scott Allen (Candice) Curtis; four great-nieces and nephews, Luke, Nick, Georgia, and Dakota; and his life-long companion, Sandra Dunlap of Ferry. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Paul Dunlap in 2000.
According to Mr. Dunlap's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
