Kermit Ray Sensenbaugh, 89, of Kingsley, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 16, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born on September 27, 1932, in Tretwood, Ohio, to Otis and Sadie (Waymare) Sensenbaugh.
Kermit graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1950, and following enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving for six years. He loved the woods, and enjoyed bird watching, woodworking, gardening, and also golfing and hunting. He shared his many created bird houses with family and friends, and was a tremendous prayer warrior, always thinking of others.
Kermit is survived by: his wife, Janet; his children, Sue (Russ) Padgett, Becky Fales, Dan Sensenbaugh, Sara (Scott) Miller; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his wives, N. Jane (Ziegler) Sensenbaugh, Louelle (Tschetter) Sensenbaugh, and Marilyn (Hall) Sensenbaugh, and many siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Kingsley Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens in Traverse City.
