Mr. Kevin L. Stafford, age 56, of Walkerville passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Kevin was born in Muskegon on September 2, 1961 to Raymond and Irene (Hoffman) Stafford. He was a graduate of Walkerville High School with the Class of 1979 and was employed as a Journeyman Pipe Fitter with Local 174 in Coopersville. Kevin served his country being a veteran of the US Navy.

Kevin enjoyed hunting, camping and snowmobiling and sharing a campfire with friends. He also was a golfer, bowler and enjoyed listening to rock and roll music, especially the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. Kevin was an accomplished welder, much of what his father taught him. Above all, Kevin loved being with his grandchildren.

Kevin is survived by his one true love of his life, Thomasa Stafford of Walkerville; two daughters, Sasha Stafford of Manistee, Lindsey Stafford of Minot, ND; six grandchildren, Devin Swihart, Raylynn Swihart, Greyson Szymanski, Iris Szymanski, Jocelyn Rodriguez, Dominic Rodriguez; his father, Raymond Stafford of Walkerville; three brothers, Michael (Diane) Stafford of Muskegon, Mark Stafford of Walkerville, Burton (Michelle) Stafford of Walkerville; his special best friend, Guy Wambaugh of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Stafford on January 19, 2014 and by his sister, Rebecca Zack in October 2016.

Memorial services will be conducted at 5:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Walkerville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bob Abbott officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
