Mr. Kurt J. Tompkins, age 54, of Hart, died Saturday, February 21, 2009. He was born in Muskegon on November 26, 1954 to John George and Dorothy Sally (Dahms) Tompkins. Kurt was employed at Hansen Foods in the produce department. He is survived by his brother, Craig Tompkins of Arizona and his sister, Julie (Bryan) Tompkins of Missoula, MT; his nephew, Mani Ramirez. The Celebration of Kurt's life will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. The Gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
