Larry Roger Halgren, 66, of Whitehall passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Hackley Campus in Muskegon. Larry was born October 12, 1952, in Muskegon, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Pothoff) Halgren.

Larry loved his family and was an avid sports fan. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

Larry is survived by: his wife, June Halgren; step-children, Brian Puls and John (Marie) Puls; granddaughter, Johnelle; brother, Tom Halgren; brother-in-law, Lou (Barb) Gibbs; and aunts, Beverly Halgren and Marie Pothoff.

Larry was preceded in death by: his parents; and brother, Robert Halgren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 10, 2019, at St. James Lutheran Church, 8945 Stebbins Street, Montague, Michigan 49437, with Pastor John Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Larry's wife June to help with final expenses.
