Laura Donna Crawford, 74, of Muskegon, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at her home with family. She was born January 16, 1950, in Detroit, the daughter of George Edward Crawford and Loretta M Crawford. On October 12, 1969, Laura married Roy Jefferson Mitschele at the First Baptist Church.

Laura is survived by: her daughters and son-in-laws, Tracy and Shawn Hughes of Muskegon and LaDonna and Daniel VanAvery of White Cloud; four grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Austin VanAvery, JayDene and Devin Grimwood, and Shawn Hughes Jr; five great-grandchildren, Sepheria VanAvery, Rayla VanAvery, Daniel Smith, Perseus VanAvery, and Ezekiel Grimwood. Also, 3 siblings, Clyde and Sherri Crawford of Hesperia.

Laura was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Mitschele; brother, Clyde Crawford; mother, Loretta; and father, George.

In accordance with Laura's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
