IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laura Ann
Weathers
September 5, 1949 – August 28, 2021
Laura Ann Kelderhouse-Weathers, born September 5, 1949, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 28, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Laura was a lifelong resident of the Traverse City area, born and raised. She was the daughter of Thomas and Venetia Kelderhouse.
Laura worked and was a proud member of the Traverse City F.O.E. Eagles Club for over 20 years. She enjoyed working there and had a lot of dear friends there as well.
Laura was a very selfless woman. She always put her family and friends first. She sure had a lot of people that adored her. She was such a kind person who loved unconditionally. She made friends wherever she went. Her grandchildren were her everything!
In Laura's spare time, she enjoyed cooking, always making meals for family dinners, which she enjoyed having her children and grandchildren over for, always making their favorite meals. Her cooking was amazing; holiday dinners were extra special.
Laura loved genealogy. She spent many hours on genealogy; she and her sister would go on adventures tracking down people and places related to their family. She enjoyed that so much. She was very proud of her family and her sister; Carol was her #1 Genealogy Partner!
Laura was just a one-of-a-kind woman with a beautiful heart. A mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will never be forgotten.
Laura is missed beyond any words. Life just isn't the same without her. Laura was a very spiritual woman who now has gained her wings as God has called her home. She is our angel in the sky still looking out for us.
Laura is survived by: two daughters, Tammy (Michael) Jenkins-Finney and Lisa (Tracey) Brown; grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Jenkins, Isaac Trejo, Alex Trejo, and Breanna Brown; great-grandchildren, Bristol and Bria Jenkins; sister, Carol (Gary) Allen; brother, William (Vicki) Kelderhouse; and several nieces and nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Richard Coffey, Vernon Kahrs, Thomas Kelderhouse Jr.; twin infant grandsons, Justin and William Garcia; and the love of her life, Thomas Bossingham.
In honor of Laura, remember her favorite saying: "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!"
