Laurie Ann Apps, born March 24, 1967, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to others. Known for her boundless generosity and huge heart, Laurie dedicated her life to caring for those around her. A natural caregiver, Laurie provided not only support but love to everyone in her life, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her empathy and warmth touched countless lives.

Laurie is survived by her beloved children Michael Stowell of Novi, and Christin Apps of Owosso, as well as sister Bonnie Davis-Apps of Muskegon, Jim Apps of Houghton Lake, Derinna Dine of Kingsley, Lynnette Canfield of Midland, Gerald Apps of California, and Rebecca Apps of Grayling as well as many nieces and nephews.

Laurie is preceded in death by her beloved son Kirk Stowell II, mother Geneva Canfield, father Jim Apps of Grayling, and brother Lyle Canfield of Houghton Lake.

Laurie will be remembered as a shining example of selflessness and grace and for her love for riding Harley Davidsons. Her passing leaves a void that will be felt deeply, yet her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
