Obituary

Mr. Leo E. McCulley II, age 78 of Hart, died Wednesday January 20, 2010. He was born in Hart on September 1, 1931 to Leo E. and Irene (Keck) McCulley and had been a lifetime area resident. Mr. McCulley was a employed as a truck driver and a general laborer. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and had received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He also was a member of the Hart VFW Post 1329. His interests included mushroom hunting, scouting for deer, walking and traveling. Mr. McCulley is survived by his children, Randy (Michelle) McCulley of Hart, Theresa (Michael) Brancheau of Hart, Pamela (David) Kokx of Hart, Linda (James) Ball of Hart, Leo "Bud" (Leslie) McCulley III of Hart, Dan (Dana) McCulley, Kelly (Angie) Kirwin of Walkerville; 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Colleen Denton, 3 sisters, Marjorie McCulley, Ethel Barchak, Barbara Johnson. The Funeral Service for Mr. McCulley will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Abbott officiating. Interment will be in the Ferry Township Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the Hart VFW Post 1329. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home.
