Mr.  Leonard David Adkins, age 53, of Hart, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Mercy Health Hackley Campus in Muskegon.  He was born October 16, 1963, in Shelby to Leonard and Beverlee (Osborne) Adkins.  He was a self-employed building contractor. He married the former Tracie Barrow on July 3, 2012 in Tennessee. Leonard enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Leonard is survived by his wife: Tracie Adkins of Hart; two twin sons: Brandon and Daniel Adkins of Pentwater; two sisters: Leslie (Michael) Barrow of Greenbrier, TN and Jean Abercrombie of Battle Creek, MI and one brother: Jim (Noreen) Abercrombie of Pentwater;   step son, Adam Duffer of Springfield, TN; step daughter, Alicia (Josh) Morris of Springfield, TN; mother in law, Sheila Barrow of Greenbrier, TN.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Griff Abercrombie, sister, Sherry Young, brother, Daniel Adkins and father in law, Ricky Barrow.

The Celebration of Life Service for Leonard will be held at a later date.
