Mr. Leonids Persidskis, age 93, died Monday, June 11, 2007. He was born in Latvia on June 27, 1913 to Janis and Alvine (Miebolts) Persidskis. He married the former Elza Celmins, who preceded him in death on November 1, 2005. Mr. Persidskis was a tool and die maker and was employed by Garco and then Westhouse in Roseville, MI, until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of Lighthouse Lutheran Church of Pentwater. Mr. Persidskis is survived by 1 son, Maris (Ursula) Persidskis of Grosse Pointe, MI, 1 daughter, Ilze (Charles) Allen of Waterford, MI, 1 daughter in law, Marianne Persidskis of Warren, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Andris "Andy" Persidskis. The Funeral Service for Mr. Persidskis will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor John Kayser officiating. Interment in Pentwater Township Cemetery.
