Lester Clare Comstock Sr., 74, of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019. Lester was born November 8, 1944 in Muskegon, Michigan.

Lester married the former Linda Phillippo on April 24, 1965. Together they were blessed with 3 children and 54 years of marriage. He enjoyed fishing, bonfires, and scooter rides. The greatest joy was always his family. He was a supportive, loving man who will be deeply missed.

Lester is survived by: his wife Linda; children, Lester (Julie) Comstock, Jeff (Doug Ruud) Comstock, and Dianne (Ted) Baron; grandchildren, Jessica (Rick Welch Jr.), Jacob (Ashlee Payne), Charles (Kayla), Lacy (Andrew James); great-grandchildren, Colin, Isaiah, Mason, Patrick, Braydan, Abigail, Trenton, Maddie, Scarlett; brothers, Thomas ( Sue Nankee) Comstock, Butch (Roxanne) Mansfield, Jerry (Cathy) Comstock; sisters, Shirley Cunningham, Phyliss Laufersky, Ruth Skuse, Leota Skuse, Helen Lopez, Eleanor Clark, and Marilyn (Brad) Zylman.

He was preceded in death by, his mother, Maude Mansfield; father, Lawrence Comstock; father figure, Pete Griffis; sister, Marjorie and brothers, Mervin and Larry Sr.

A celebration of Lester's life will be conducted from 4:00pm- 7:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2019, at The Avenue Event Center, 4747 First Street, New Era, MI.
