Lev Lonhyn Ploshchansky, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, born on August 16, 1978, passed away on September 5, 2023.

He is survived by his mother, Svitlana Haliw; brother, Taras Ploshchansky (Larissa Brezden); sister, Olena (Mark) Dundon; step-sister, Larissa Haliw; nephews, Luka Ploshchansky and Nicholas Dundon; nieces, Lucy Dundon and Aryanna Haliw; uncle, Lohnyn Mokryj; cousins in Canada and Ukraine; dear family friends; and countless friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Volodymyr and Sophia Ploshchansky, and Stephan and Maria Mokryj; father, Jaroslaw Ploshchansky; uncle, Roman Ploshchansky; step-father, Andrew Haliw; step-uncle, Bohdan Haliw; step-sister, Andrea Haliw.

We will remember Lev fondly, with love and laughter, and will miss him forever. May he rest in peace. Vichnaya Pam'yat'.

A memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hamtramck, Michigan, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by a reception at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy, Michigan.
