Lila Alvina Trautman (Sutter) 95, passed peacefully on June 19, 2024, with family and close friends by her side.  Lila was born on October 30, 1928, to Edwin and Alvina Sutter, in Kewadin, Michigan.

On June 15, 1946, she married the love of her life, Fred Trautman, and they spent 62 years together.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Fred; parents, Edwin and Alvina; sister, Marie (Leon) and brother, Claude (Bev); nephews, George and Leon and niece, Rhonda.  She is survived by: her only daughter, Elaine (Ben}; close friends, Diane and Terry Zawora; honorary grandson, Brian Zawora and his children Emmalyn, Gatlin, and Owen; nieces, Judy (Don), Charlene (Doug), Joyce (Fred), Eileen, and Ranee; nephews, Brad (Polly) and Brian.  Also, many great-nieces and nephews.

Lila and Fred enjoyed traveling in their motor home including trips to Alaska and fishing in the UP.  They spent 23 years wintering in Haines City, Florida.

Lila was a loving wife and mother.  She will be remembered by her family and her many friends and neighbors who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Elk Rapids Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elk Rapids.
