Mrs. Linda Jean Cechura, age 66, of Walkerville, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born March 26, 1951, in Los Angeles, CA to Herbert and Cathy Kleyn. She was a homemaker and a teacher's aide at Oceana Christian School. She married Michael Cechura on March 10, 1990 in Holton.

Linda was an artisan, working with stained glass. She loved being outdoors, especially at the beaches and in Hawaii. Linda was a great wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family and enjoyed playing board games with them. She also loved animals and her German shepherd, Baby Sheba. Most of all, Linda was a Godly woman having a relationship with her Lord. She was a very patient woman and had a lot of perseverance during her illness.

Linda is survived by her husband: Michael Cechura of Walkerville; two daughters: Rebecca (David) Katje of Spring Lake, MI and Rachel (Austin) Cox of Shelby, MI; one grandson, Landon Burmeister of Twin Lake, MI; two brothers: Bob (Darlene) Kleyn of Visalia, CA and Ron (Katie) Kleyn of Fresno, CA; two step daughters, Carrie (Paul) Burmeister of Twin Lake, MI and Helen Cechura of Colorado Springs, CO; She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving for the Gift of Eternal Life through Jesus Christ for Mrs. Cechura will be Friday, February 2, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Shelby Road Baptist Church, with Pastor Nate Parsekian officiating.  Interment will be in Hart Cemetery.   Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Beacon Cremation and Funeral Service, the King-Hart Chapel.  The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Mary's Hospital Intensive Care Unit, 200 Jefferson Ave, S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
